The Cunderdin Community Resource Centre (CRC) is conveniently located on the main retail street of Cunderdin, 156 kilometres east of Perth. With accessible facilities—including disabled access and ample free parking—we are a friendly and welcoming hub for both locals and visitors.
As one of over 100 CRCs across Western Australia, we proudly serve the Shire of Cunderdin, which includes the towns of Cunderdin (population 1,138), Meckering (population 319), and surrounding rural areas. Our centre offers a wide range of services and programs designed to support education, business, community groups, and tourism. The CRC houses the public library, a large function room ideal for meetings, workshops, and events, plus a comprehensive range of secretarial and digital services. Visitors to the region can also access local tourism information and brochures to help explore the area. Since opening in January 2000, the centre has grown from humble beginnings in the old bakery building to its current location in the former Westpac bank building. Ongoing upgrades have ensured a bright, comfortable, and modern space. Beyond services and facilities, the Cunderdin CRC fosters community connections and learning through programs such as Tiny Tots, the Cunderdin Youth Council, and the CMT Seniors Group, along with a variety of events throughout the year. Whether you are a local resident or visiting our beautiful region, the team at the Cunderdin CRC is here to assist with information, resources, and support to help you stay connected and make the most of your time here. The Cunderdin CRC receives valuable funding and support from the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD). This partnership enables us to offer a wide range of essential services and programs to our community. DPIRD’s support helps strengthen local education, business opportunities, and community wellbeing. Together, we work to build a resilient and thriving regional community. |
